2oz Mulholland American Whiskey
1 oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
3/4 oz simple syrup
1 egg white
Angostura Bitters
1 – Combine Whiskey, lemon juice, simple syrup & egg white in a tin shaker – Do not add ice yet.
2 – Seal the shaker and shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
3 – Add ice.
4 – Seal the shaker and shake vigorously for at least 30 seconds.
5 – Fit a Hawthorne strainer over the top of the shaker and pour the cocktail through a fine-mesh strainer into a coupe glass. This is referred to as a “double strain”.
6 – Top with 6 “dots” of Angostura Bitters.
7 – Bottoms up!
